Busy, busy, busy...is how I can describe our spring and summer so far. The end of March we got the official news that Dusty got the new Park Manager's position at Cuivre River State Park we packed up our whole house moved and unpacked by ourselves with two kids and no help. Let me tell you, that was exhausting but I was proud of ourselves that just the two of us did it! We had a deadline to be out of our old park, we cleaned, sorted, had a yard sale (thank you Kathy Stroppel for that!) and packed up a whole house including all of our outdoor stuff and got it ready for the moving people to pick up and take to the new park on May 2nd. Then May 3rd when we unpacked and started painting! We painted basically the whole house except my poor kitchen is still only half done. I really don't care, I am so tired of painting!
Here are a few pictures of the new house.
Here is a wall in our dining room.

Grant's room, which still needs curtains!

Kids bathroom...I love the color, I wanted it to look like a fun kids bathroom. And I finally got to use my mirror that I found at a yard sale for $5!

Now that we have lived here for two months now we are still trying to get settled in to our new house. Out of our past four moves I always seem to forget how long it takes to settle in to a new place. At our last park we lived there for 2 years and 11 months, basically 3 years...we were very settled there, very comfortable...I always hate starting over at a new place. But then again who likes it? Looking forward getting more settled here at our new house, new park & new town.
