My baby girl is in kindergarten! Just five and a half years ago she was a tiny 6 lb & 15 oz bundle that I wasn't quite sure what to do with and now she is already in school! Not sure where all those years went to, but I can say I am very thankful to have gotten to spend every day of those five and half years with her! It is day three of school and it is slowly starting to sink in. We did all of the exciting back to school supply shopping and I made sure she had everything even down the smallest detail. I was probably over obsessive...I just wanted everything to be special and perfect for her. From sew in labels on her pillow & blanket for nap time to the cute printed lunch notes for her lunch box. Maybe I was the one anxious and nervous? Haha. First day of school August 25th, 2010...my "baby girl" is a big school girl that was so excited to go to school, she walked into class hung up her backpack and gave us hugs and kisses and was ready for the day...yes, I was the one nervous not her. She has had a great first two days of kindergarten with recess being her favorite she says. I hope the rest of the school year goes as smoothly as the first 3 days!
